Moving On

Just a quick note to say that clearly this blog has been very dormant for quite some time now, time and enthusiasm for blogging whilst also running a business, having a day job and all the other stuff that humans need to do has been in short supply! I know it's still getting traffic from Pinterest though, mainly for my tutorials and a few other bits, so I'm reluctant to delete it altogether as I think people are still finding some of my content useful.

So for anyone interested in the Bunny Bosworth business and how it's been developing over the last few years you can head over to my shiny new website!

A Work In Progress

It's been a busy few weeks in the studio as I'm getting the new Spring-Summer collection together. I would have shared the new prints with you sooner but my laptop decided at this most crucial moment to pack up completely.
Sadly this means you'll have to make do with some not so great photos taken on my phone, rest assured there will be better pictures soon!

From front to back; Milla,  Maddsie,  Thorpe, Meadow,  Mitsi.
All shown here as the reef knot tab bracelet I introduced for Valentines Day.

Keep your eyes on my Facebook page as I'll be taking pre-orders soon at a special discount before I list them all on Etsy.

Lovers Knots

Ah it's that time of year again....birthday count down time! And also Valentines Day I suppose, whatever floats your boat. So I've got another mini collection of my knot jewellery ready especially for V-Day, this time in that classic Tatum print tana lawn in red. ANd as last year I'm introducing a new design; this tiny reef knot tab bracelet.

I'm really pleased with how this has turned out, looking forward to making it a permanent feature in my seasonal collections!
Here's the rest of the range for you, they are all available to buy via my facebook page, and I'll have them listed on Etsy very soon. Enjoy!

A Coat for a Fool

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you've all had a thoroughly festive few weeks. I am back in the studio now after a couple of weeks of eating, drinking and be-merrying, ready for an exciting 2015. First of all though, a little project I finished last year on.
I was asked by my regular co-conspirator Rebecca Lee to make a frock coat for her Morris dancing pals Sharp and Blunt's Fool, to get its first outing on Boxing Day.
Rebecca chose a very nice wool-like red plaid, and I used a combination of this pattern for an 18th Century riding outft, and a Burda magazine jacket pattern.
Black velvet for the lapels.
And black velvet buttons on the cuffs.

A pleated tail section with a dipped hem and a couple more velvet buttons.
And my own little surprise of a taffeta under collar!

Pretty swish, no?
